Matthew conducts Musica Vera Chamber choir in their Spring concert featuring Gabriel Fauré’s serene Requiem. The first half of the concert includes music on the theme of dusk and twilight, with music by Bach, Parry, Saint-Saens and Alexander L'Estrange. The concert will also feature the first performance of a brand new commission for the choir's 60th anniversary by Matthew, a setting of a short poem, Dusk, by one of the Dymock poets, John Drinkwater.
